Background about Corteva

The company of Corteva Agriscience has the purpose of enhancing a farmers productivity and communicate and help their consumers need. The company’s newly changed name after becoming an independent company, on June 1, 2019, is formed meaning “heart” and “nature,”really grasping the reality of caring for farmers and their lives.

Cortevas Launch

Corteva launched their company on the New York Stock Exchange two days after independence. Their company has become one of the leading organizations in seed and crop production.

Founding and Locations

Corteva has a total of 150 research has and development facilities helping find solutions for maximizing yields and profits. Corteva Agriscience was founded by the heritages of Dow, DuPont, and Pioneer. They are headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware and have other business and regional centers around the United States and globally.

FFA Support

Corteva announced that they will be working with the National FFA organization by donating $20,000 for 5 years to help students receive their FFA jacket. This allows students who cannot afford their jacket, receive it through the Give the Gift of Blue program. The organization has also increased their funding for the FFA mission, making the company a platinum sponsor of the FFA organization. Their goal is to help provide for next generation leaders.

Tammy Raider

Tammy Rader is the Corteva Agricence communications consultant. She is based at the Indianapolis, Indiana center being a part of the Executive, Employee, and Functianoal Communications team. She plays a role by dealing with employee communications, media relations, coaching,issue management, and public affairs.

Before she worked for Corteva she was a lead public relations manager at AT&T and had other consultant communications jobs such as working for; thrive to, Fortune 500, and NAMIC. Tammy Rader earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and the University of Colorado-Boulder, and is part of the Up with People international education and performing arts alumni. She has 4 children and is from Greeley, Colorado.
